Porcelain Glazing Class: Glaze Your Own Cups

Imagine creating your own set of functional, high-quality porcelain cups! Customise your very own set of Mennt porcelain cups using food-safe underglazes at this relaxing workshop.

Laura will start the class by demonstrating the process of making the forms and provide glaze application guidance and techniques throughout the class. You'll then be given two Mennt bisqued porcelain cups and using a selection of underglaze colours, will have the opportunity to paint your own pattern or images on each piece.

This two-hour workshop allows you the rare opportunity to see inside a working ceramics studio and apply your own design elements to these minimalist design pieces. Laura will then complete the final glaze and firing process and deliver your completed cups ready for use.

Each workshop will take around two hours and is ideal to book with a few friends or a great chance to get to know other like-minded creatives.

Please note each class will require a minimum of four participants with public classes capped at 15, allowing us all to spread out and get creative.

The discounted price of $60pp for group bookings over 20 people includes only 1 porcelain cup per person. If your group of 20 or more would like to instead paint two cups each please mention this in your request. 

 

Attendees will get:

Two Mennt 095 cups to customise and all the materials required to do so. In the week following the class, all your pieces will be glazed with a clear food-safe glaze and fired in the kiln before being packed and delivered to you.
